Tickets for the ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ hitmaker’s summer concert go on sale this week.
She still just wants to have fun, and she’s coming through Metro Detroit one more time.
Cyndi Lauper will perform at Pine Knob on Aug. 1, venue officials announced Monday. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster, with pre-sales starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Jake Wesley Rogers will open.
The show is part of the pop veteran’s 25-date summer tour, which is described in promotional material as the final leg of her farewell tour. The run kicks off July 15 in Buffalo and wraps August 29 and 30 with two shows at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl.
Lauper played Detroit earlier on the tour at the Fox Theatre in October 2024.
