WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, Manhattan (PIX11) — A person was hit by a subway train in Washington Heights Thursday afternoon, according to the MTA.
EMS teams responded to the 191st Street station around 1:40 p.m.
No. 1 trains have resumed regular service.
This is the third incident that has impacted the 1 line over the last two days. A person was struck at 96th Street around 5:23 p.m. Wednesday. Another person was struck and killed in Inwood at around 6:51 p.m.
