Abby Chin will call play-by-play, with Connecticut Sun guard Diamond DeShields and renowned sportswriter and author Jackie MacMullan as color analysts on NBC Sports Boston’s all-female broadcast of Tuesday night’s Celtics-Nets game.
This is the second year NBC Sports Boston, the Celtics, and the WNBA’s Sun have partnered for an all-female game broadcast in honor of Women’s History Month.
Last year Chin, the Celtics’ popular sideline reporter and occasional studio host for more than a decade, served as the color analyst alongside play-by-play voice Zora Stephenson. Chin has filled in on Celtics radio broadcasts in the past, but this is her first time doing play-by-play for an NBC Sports Boston Celtics broadcast.
Kayla Burton will host the network’s studio programming, including “Celtics Pregame Live,” “Celtics Halftime Live,” and “Celtics Postgame Live.” Sun president Jen Rizzotti and Sun broadcast analyst, Celtics scout, and Maine Celtics assistant general manager Ashley Battle will be the studio analysts.
