Today’s highs will reach the upper 50s under partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows will dip into the 40s. Showers may begin after sunset for areas northwest of D.C., while the rest of the metro area will wait until after midnight for rain.
Rain totals should be on the light side, around a tenth to a quarter-inch.
Rain will likely last during the morning commute in D.C. and end during the late morning hours. Decreasing clouds are expected Monday afternoon and temperatures should climb to the upper 60s.
Tuesday stays dry, light rain returns early Wednesday, and then the rest of the week stays dry and warms up.
