WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Saturday’s Red Flag Warning has expired for southeast North Carolina. You will still want to be cautious if you are grilling outside this evening or on Sunday. Your First Alert Forecast for Spring’s first weekend highlights ample sunshine with afternoon highs in the 60s & 70s through Sunday. Overnight lows will dip into the 40s.
A greenish-yellow haze may be accumulating on your car, thanks to high pollen counts. If you’re planning on washing it off, do so conservatively as the latest drought report continues to highlight a mostly moderate to locally severe drought. If you prefer to let Mother Nature work her magic, our next best chance of gusty showers emerges Monday afternoon. The rest of the new workweek will feature lots of sunshine, near zero rain chances, and generally seasonable temperatures.
