PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – OHSU and United Healthcare have reached what they call a good faith agreement on a contract.
According to OHSU, the two organizations are working on finalizing new multi-year contracts that would keep OHSU’S main hospital, children’s hospital, clinics and other healthcare professionals as in-network providers for United Healthcare members.
The agreement is expected to affect as many as 74,000 patients who are covered by United Healthcare insurance.
The current contract between OHSU and United Healthcare ends on March 31.
