CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Kohl’s announced in January that dozens of “underperforming” locations across the country would close by April. That includes two stores in the Tri-State among the 27 total.
The store on Hunt Road in Blue Ash and the store in Forest Park on Cincinnati Mills Drive will be closing after business finishes on Saturday, according to the Kohl’s website.
“We always take these decisions very seriously,” said Tom Kingsbury, Kohl’s chief executive officer. “As we continue to build on our long-term growth strategy, it is important that we also take difficult but necessary actions to support the health and future of our business for our customers and our teams.”
Even after the closures, Kohl’s will still have more than one thousand stores nationwide. There are a dozen that remain open in Greater Cincinnati.
