Las Vegas had never been a strong football market until the Las Vegas Raiders came to the city in 2020. Before that, UNLV was the biggest football draw in Sin City, but the Rebels haven’t had a player drafted since 2010 and the program just won their first bowl game since 2000 last season.
Things are changing for the Rebels, and they are likely to see their first players drafted in over a decade. Wide receiver Ricky White III is among the players who have a chance to be drafted.
While he’d be happy to play anywhere, he wasn’t shy about his love for Las Vegas and how exciting it would be to get drafted by the Raiders.
