NAMPA, Idaho (CBS2) — A Nampa child who was the subject of an Amber Alert late Thursday night has been found safe.
The Nampa Police were dispatched after a 12-year-old child was reported missing by her adopted mother. She reported the child missing after she disappeared with her non-custodial mother and an unknown man.
Nampa Police identified the suspect as 36-year-old Gabriela Inguez from Nampa. An Amber Alert was activated asking for public assistance in location the child and suspect shortly after 12:00 am Friday morning.
Police report that Inguez also received the Amber Alert and decided to contact the Nampa Police Department with her location. Officers responded and found the child unharmed. Inguez has been taken into custody without incident for felony kidnapping.
