DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A NASCAR Cup Series star will be coming to the Darlington Raceway on Wednesday!
Alex Bowman will drive around the raceway in two vintage race cars and then go on a community outreach tour, promoting the Goodyear 400 and The Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR.
Bowman will also visit students at the Darlington County Institute of Technology and tour the Darlington County Humane Society.

The cars Bowman will drive on the raceway include the 1959 Chevrolet No. 7 that Jim Reed drove to victory in the 1959 Southern 500 and the 1950 Griffin Motors Oldsmobile driven by Buck Baker.
