According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, the 39-year-old man was arrested after a week-long investigation into alleged abuse of a child.
JOHNSON COUNTY, Ga. — A Wrightsville man has been arrested on multiple charges related to the sexual abuse of a child, according to a post from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
The post said Andrew Holland, 39, was taken into custody on Friday and charged with four counts of aggravated sexual battery and four counts of grooming a minor for sexual offense.
The arrest came after a week-long investigation after the sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division received information on Monday.
According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, between June 2024 and February 2025, Holland abused a child on four separate occasions.
Sheriff Greg Rowland emphasized the department’s commitment to protecting children and said they take these cases “with the utmost importance.”
