Sienna Betts needs a bigger trophy case.
A graduating senior at Grandview High, Betts was named the Morgan Wootten National Girls Basketball Player of the Year on Sunday.

Betts is a three-time Gatorade Colorado Player of the Year and will compete in the McDonald’s All-American Game on Tuesday (4:30 p.m., ESPN2). A 6-foot-4 post player, Betts averaged 23 points, 16.5 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 3.4 blocks as a senior at Grandview.
Grandview won three state titles in her four seasons. Betts has signed with UCLA.
Wootten, 88, is the chairman of the McDonald’s All-American Games committee and was the longtime coach at DeMatha Catholic in Maryland. Previous winners include Paige Bueckers (2020), Breanna Stewart (2012), Chiney Ogwumike (2010), Maya Moore (2007) and Candace Parker (2004).
