Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani approved on Sunday the granting of free visas to Kuwaiti fans to enter Iraq to attend their match against our national team next Thursday in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
A source told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that “Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has approved the granting of free visas to Kuwaiti fans to enter Iraq.”
The source added, “The approval was given for Kuwaiti fans to attend their match against our national team next Thursday in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.”
The Iraqi national team will play its highly anticipated match against its Kuwaiti counterpart next Thursday in the seventh round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
