SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Billy Joel is rescheduling his concert dates due to a “medical condition.”
Joel’s team made the announcement on Instagram Tuesday morning. His current tour will be postponed for four months to allow him to recover from recent surgery. It is scheduled to rebegin at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on July 5.
“While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first. I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans,” the singer wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for your understanding.”
Joel is expected to make a full recovery, his team said.
The concert date at JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse has been rescheduled to April 10, 2026. He was supposed to perform at the same venue on April 11.
